I was going to post about a moral dilemma involving a baseball card (I will do this later today or tomorrow), but then this happened...
From Investor's Business Daily today:
Knot shares fall on fourth-quarter results
(10:17 AM ET) SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Knot Inc.(KNOT)shares fell 9.6% to $27.20 in Tuesday morning trade after the New York-based media company and wedding services provider reported a fourth-quarter net profit of $14.6 million, or 45 cents a share, up from $1.48 million, or 6 cents a share, last year. The results for the fourth quarter of 2006 included a non-cash income tax benefit and a gain from the settlement of a legal action. Revenue rose to $21.7 million from $12.8 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial were expecting a per-share profit of 11 cents on revenue of $21.8 million. (emphasis mine)
So, revenue was off by $.1 million (or $100,000), while per share profit beat the forecasts by 34 CENTS A SHARE. And the stock is tanking. Either I have no idea what I'm doing, or the whole world hates me.
Disgruntled...

Don't worry- I predict an upswing in the wedding industry. Now that a certain Amanda Peet lookalike is off the market, thousands of 26 year old men will finally give up the dream and marry their current girlfriends. Stay strong.
Or, it's left everyone so depressed that they've given up all thoughts of ever marrying, and everyone's joining Trappist monasteries to brew beer for God.
good point. sell your cisco and hedge with beer.
On a serious note...
two words...touch screens
